Hana was so amazing with Teddy and he loved her right away! (he's not a people loving dog, so to see him love another person aside from us was super encouraging) Day School was something that Teddy really looked forward to! Hana helped him work on his confidence, leash skills and to not be so scared of children as well as other things. Seeing his confidence level boosted so much has been amazing, he still gets overwhelmed in new situations but with the tips and techniques Hana shared with me I can help him through his anxiety and help him to get through these situations and be more confident the next time. I've already told so many of my friends about Day School and the benefits it's brought to me and Teddy. I would definitely recommend Hana and her wealth of knowledge to anyone and everyone!

We adopted Billie in September of 2022 and she was described to be everything you wanted in a dog. She was supposedly good on leash, great recall and good with dogs and people. Three days in we found she was aggressive to other dogs, would lunge, growl, bark and even attack if allowed close enough to another dog. We felt duped but wasn’t going to send her to her seventh home, she was already ours and a great dog otherwise. I contacted Hana as we needed help. The first one on one class we couldn’t even bring a dog out on the other side of the barrier in the training facility. We are about 8 months on and now we are taking part in group classes, and I’m even able to walk side by side with a neighbors dog that respects Billie’s boundaries. She’s not allowed off leash with another dog at this point and that’s ok. All I know is I’m grateful Hana helped us and gave us the tools to make Billie more confident and a better rounded dog. Best investment I’ve made so far.

Doggy Day School helped us so much. Maile is our first family dog and Hana helped us prioritize our training wants and needs. We all learned a lot and the habits and manners have held strong because the best part of the training is that Hana sends us home with training homework that we keep reinforcing. We (Gracie and I) had such an amazing time in class, we worked on obedience, loose leash walking and some training on Re-call. Gracie learned so much with Hana within such a short period of time . Skills that we continue to work on everyday. Some more than others depending on situations and other dogs we meet on our walk .😎 She no longer pulls my shoulder out on walks and for the most part she doesn’t react when other dogs do out. Hana teaches you so much to work on during the week which is amazing, if you put in the work you and your dog will succeed ☺️

We started playing disc as soon as I adopted my pup last year at a year old. I can not say enough good things about the sport. It is such a fun way to bond with your dog, and grow that working relationship with them with pretty minimal pressure. My dog Rodeo absolutely loves everything about disc. We are enjoying learning all the different games & techniques through classes, seminars & trials through the Ohana K9 Centre. Such a fun and inclusive sport. I really recommend the beginner classes to see if your dog has the drive for it & setting both you and your dog up to play safely & successfully. Can’t wait to see Terrace’s little disc community grow!

"We have taken several classes with Hana as well as recently participated in Terrace's first scent/disc trial organized by her! With Hana's guidance and preparing us, our lab Kumho earned his level 1 title and 2 ribbons towards Ranger 1 in scent detection and had a blast competing in the disc trial. She also has helped me in other classes gaining a solid recall and basic obedience with him as well. Our other dog Tikka used to pull terribly unless she had a pinch collar on and thanks to loose leash walking classes and obedience and lifeskills, she now walks by my side in a slip leash. Can't recommend her enough and am so thankful! She is your go-to person for all your dog training needs!"

Phoebe had been born in the shelter so her exposure to people had been minimal. After weeks of being home she was still scared of everyone and everything. Working full time and have two littles I knew I wasn’t going to be able to dedicate the time nor did I have the skills that were going to be required to support Phoebe’s training. I contacted Hana and signed her up for the next set of doggy dayschool. Hana was very patient and kind as it took Phoebe quite a bit more time than most to trust but once Hana had that it was almost night and day difference. Her recall is fantastic, her leash manners are great and I was able to not only learn what to do but why I needed to do things and what the impacts of my behavior on Phoebe were. I’m incredibly grateful for the foundations that Hana set as now at almost 2 I have no concerns with her being off leash, around people or other animals. I highly recommend following whatever training plan Hana suggests as she’s incredibly knowledgeable, caring and supportive.

When we first got Azly from the shelter she had not spent anytime inside a house or people who actually cared for her. She had no leash manners, no training, skills or tricks! After the first few classes our Azly was amazing on a leash and we could actually enjoy a tug free, relaxing walk! She had hand commands down for sit, lay down and stay with in the first week. She had amazing recall and even thrived in the agility classes! We wouldn’t have the relationship we have with our Azly if it wasn’t for Hana and her knowledge and love for what she does!
